Keeping it simple
April 20, 2010 on 2:26 am | In Random | No CommentsI’ve decided to remove the flash gallery front end of my site and replace it with just the blog. Simplicity is good… plus I had a hard drive crash and lost the flash source files, so I couldn’t update it even if I wanted to!
In the crash I’ve been going back through my old, unfortunately low-res artwork and having switched over to just a blog format I figure this is a good time to post some of my old works. So I’ll be doing that over the next week.
goodbye twenties. i’ll miss you once my hairline starts receding.

Strangely, it doesn’t seem like anything happened in the past 12 months and I’m not just talking about my art productivity, because that’s obvious. 09′ flew by, with most of it spent in front of the computer and every 30 days yelling out ‘fuck i can’t believe it is *this month* already!’. Having said that (thanks CYE S07E10), putting the year in review has definitely raised some bushy brows. My work visa was extended, we survived the market crunch, elevated my steez, started painting regularly, saw my best mate get married and re-visited my favourite place on earth (Japan) in full-on rockstar style with TTT. So although I spend every weekend at the office, some cool shit did happen this year.
