Artists I like’ #001
June 10, 2008 on 5:40 am | In Art | 1 CommentI’m going to start payin respects where respect is due. First off is Melissa Forman from Cleveland, Ohio. Usually I’m not huge fans of young technically perfect, figurative/realism oil painters (aside from Gross, Ryden etc) but I’m digging Miss Forman’s work. Maybe it’s the soft victorian edge or just that slight touch of weird/creepiness. Either way, I’m sure her profile can only increase after the recent Corey Helford show. It also can’t hurt that she is pretty hot too.

new yasuhiro that i can’t afford
June 2, 2008 on 2:41 am | In Fashion | No CommentsI’d rock all 3 of these but i don’t think I’d pay over 700 for worn out cycle boots with a knit lining, even if I did have that kind of coin to drop.

Updated
May 29, 2008 on 4:39 am | In Art, Random | No CommentsBy some amazing chance that one of the 5 people who read this somehow arrived here not by way of the homepage, I’d like to announce that I’ve updated said homepage. It’s nothing much. I streamlined the content and navigation to fall more inline with my current style of work. Everything old has been archived, which is still viewable by way of the, you guessed it, archive link. Enjoy.

f/w 08 Taishi Nobukuni layered pants. I would definitely rock these even though they have one of the most useless textile finishes; excessive wrinkles. It still reminds me of when major brands like club monaco, gap, etc were reselling normal t’s with this permanent wrinkles nonsense but for a more expensive price. Maybe the next time I have a garage sale, I’ll prepare by leaving some clothes on the floor for a couple weeks and then jack the prices up.

Wow, I haven’t wrote anything in quite awhile. Hopefully that will change in the coming weeks. I’ve successfully planted my Canadian ass in Melbourne and I’ve gotten over an initial bad string of electro-deaths, a.k.a. my external harddrive, wii, ds, and scanner decided that the southern hemisphere is a good place to commit suicide. So as soon as I get a new scanner solution I’ll post what is hopefully a weekly sketch/art/poorly written rant/jap-fashion update.
